AMANDJI GOÏTO
Amandji Goïto is the President and Founder of Biomotor Institute Inc. He is a native of Prince George’s County where he attended Eleanor Roosevelt Highschool and participated in the TRiO Upward Bound Program at Prince George’s Community College (PGCC). Amandji began running track and field in 2012 at PGCC. His goal was to run fast enough to receive an athletic scholarship to a 4-year university. After years of hard work, in 2015, he earned a track and field scholarship to Bowie State University, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature.
Injury and inexperience ended his track career prematurely. However, during his career, he became a student of the sport and fell in love with sprint events. Countless athletes in the DMV area don’t receive proper sprint training and are oblivious to the fact. They are also unaware of the demands of a college scholarship. In order to combat wasted potential, the idea of a Track and Field Specialty training camp came to Amandji towards the end of his track career. He acquired his USATF Level 1 certification and both Strength and Conditioning and Sprints, Hurdles, and Relays Certifications through the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA). Through experience as a TRiO Upward Bound tutor and PGCPS English Language Arts Teacher; Amandji has determined that creating an atmosphere that uses: Mentorship, proper sprint training, and restoration will lead to command of the biomotor abilities and dedication to self-improvement.
